We collaborate with Patient Family Partners (PFPs) so that our work is always focused on the best outcomes for patients and families. The input these volunteers provide to 3sHealth and its committees is invaluable.

“It’s amazing,” says Colleen Bryant, a 3sHealth PFP. “One of the wonderful things about being a PFP is that you get to work with the people who make the changes, the health-care decision makers. 3sHealth, the Saskatchewan Health Authority, and all health-care partners are committed to listening to patients.”

Ideal PFPs will have a variety of related experience, reflect the diversity of the Saskatchewan’s population, and have a desire to improve quality, safety, and the patient experience.

Patient Family Centred Care

Like our system partners, 3sHealth has adopted a patient-first philosophy and works to ensure the patient voice is at the heart of our planning and decision making. Our Patient Family Partners (PFPs) collaborate with health-care leaders to guide projects, services, and policies that will improve quality, safety, and the overall patient experience.

We rely on PFPs to ensure the patient voice is present in our daily service as well as our transformative improvement projects.
