3sHealth has released its 2020-21 Annual Report. 

The report details each service line’s accomplishments, offers a “balanced scorecard” on 3sHealth’s 2020-21 priorities and corporate targets, and presents the financial statements of the organization. There are also sections throughout the report that explain how Saskatchewan health-care system partners worked together and made great strides to find innovative solutions to complex problems. Some examples of this partnership include 3sHealth reaffirming and strengthening the role of its Patient Family Partners (PFPs), adding the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s contracted physicians group to the 3sHealth-administered employee and family assistance program, and making significant progress towards establishing a new service line called application management services to support the future Administrative Information Management System (AIMS). 

The report also covers the organization’s activities during the COVID-19 pandemic in Saskatchewan. “This last year has been unlike any other in living memory. Saskatchewan, Canada, and the world have focused on fighting the COVID-19 pandemic,” says 3sHealth CEO Mark Anderson. “3sHealth responded by ensuring critical personal protective equipment was available, taking care of the health system’s caregivers with a robust package of benefits, and redeploying staff to assist our partners in their COVID-19 response.” 

The report covers many of 3sHealth’s other projects, efforts, and goals. For example, 3sHealth had a record-breaking year when it came to progress towards its goal of positively impacting 1.2 million lives by 2025. In 2020-21, the organization exceeded its 85,000 goal with 249,183 lives positively impacted. This brings 3sHealth’s total to date to 1,030,009.
