Job Summary
We are seeking a Systems Analyst, HCM – Scheduling to join our team and play a vital role in supporting scheduling operations across Saskatchewan’s healthcare sector. This role is focused on delivering efficient scheduling solutions that directly support the healthcare system.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support for end users across the healthcare system.
- Act as an escalation point for complex scheduling issues and collaborate with technical teams to identify root causes and timely solutions.
- Configure, test, and implement changes to scheduling systems to reflect updates in collective agreements, operational requirements, or legislative changes.
- Work closely with Payroll and HCM teams to ensure accurate flow of data across modules.
- Regularly audit scheduling data to ensure accuracy. Proactively identify and correct errors or discrepancies that may impact compliance, payroll accuracy, or staffing availability.
- Participate in planning, execution, and documentation of system testing for patches, upgrades, and new functionality.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute reports and dashboards to support operational decision-making.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications in Oracle HCM/Payroll, UKG/Kronos would be considered an asset.
- PMP designation considered an asset.
- Advanced Excel skills (macros, VBA, data analysis) required.
- Solid understanding of payroll legislation, HR policies, scheduling rules, and collective agreements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proactive mindset with a commitment to client service and continuous improvement.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience with enterprise human capital management, payroll and/or scheduling systems.
- Proven experience in a leadership or senior analyst role supporting Oracle Fusion, UKG, CleverAnt or similar tools.
- Experience working in a unionized or healthcare environment is highly desirable.
