This role reports to the Executive Director, Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Management while playing a key role as a member of the Internal Audit team and the organization. We are looking for an innovative and experienced Senior Auditor to provide assurance on strategic and operational objectives.

The Senior Auditor is responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting assigned operational, financial compliance, and information systems audits to provide reasonable assurance that internal controls are adequate and 3sHealth assets are safeguarded as well as effectively and efficiently utilized. Corrective action will be recommended to senior management in a report at the end of each audit.  

The Senior Auditor will be responsible for:

• Providing independent and objective assurance and consulting services to the organization.
• Plan and conduct specific operational, financial compliance, and information system audits through consultation with management and staff of the audited area and based on business objectives, systems, processes, risks, and controls. Document the work done and evaluate the audit results.
• Working with leaders to maintain an effective Enterprise Risk Management program.
• Identifying, assessing, and managing risks to the operation.
• Working with Management to identify, assess, and manage risks to the operation. 

This is a permanent, office-based opportunity located in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration.
• Five years’ experience in accounting or auditing functions.
• Possession of, or the willingness to obtain, a professional auditing designation (CIA, CISA, CRMA).

Experience

• Knowledge of continuous improvement processes is considered an asset.
• Health sector experience would be considered an asset.
